We design and deploy robotic work cells and build our own positioners and external axes for industrial robots: from concept to go-live on the production floor.
What we do
Positioners and external axes. We design and build single- and multi-axis positioners, turntables and travel tracks, matched to the part's weight, size and process. Structure, drives, integration with the robot controller: all made in-house.
Robotic work cells. Complete production cells for a specific part: welding, cutting, machine tending, palletizing. From layout and simulation, through structure and safety, to programs and documentation.
Robot integration. Selecting, programming and deploying robots into an existing line. We work with FANUC and Estun robots, matching the platform to the process and budget, then connecting it to its surroundings: controls, sensors and higher-level systems.
Service and modernization. Uptime, inspections, retrofit of older cells and cycle-time optimization. We respond fast, because we know the cells we built ourselves.
About
Argand combines two competencies that are usually split across different suppliers: machine building and robotics. As a result the positioner, robot and controls are created as one coherent design, and you talk to a single partner accountable for the whole, from the first measurement of the part to acceptance on the floor.
We integrate FANUC robots (a global standard of reliability), as well as Estun, whose welding robots offer an excellent capability-to-price ratio. This lets us match the solution to the project's budget, rather than the budget to a single catalogue.
